Q: What is the title of your book?

Bloodswell.

Q: Where did the idea come from the book?

Meeting so many Asian readers who loved the Twilight series. Bloodswell is a Chinese Twilight.

Q: What genre does your book fall under?

Young Adult/ Mummy Porn/Fanfiction/Romantic Thriller.

Q: Which Actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Psy as my Chinese vampire. Zhang Ziyi or a Hong Kong beauty as Anna.

Q: What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

A romantic fast-paced vampire saga infused with the sights, people and atmosphere of Hong Kong.

Q: Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

The book has just been released by QX Publishing Co Ltd, a sister company of Commercial Press Hong Kong.

Q: How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

About twelve weeks.

Q: What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

A romantic paranormal thriller set in Hong Kong is a first!

Q: Who or what inspired you to write this book?

The emotions that swirl around first love and desire.

Q: What else about your book might pique the reader's interest?

Bloodswell is a story of intense friendships, dangerous secrets and forbidden love.
